Citation and Reuse Policy

Somantra publishes original research on how brands appear in AI search. We want our work to be shared and referenced, and you are welcome to cite our reports, data, and articles. All we ask is that you credit Somantra clearly and link back to the original source. This policy explains how.

How to Cite Somantra Research

When you reference our work, follow the same practice good journalists use when citing another publication:

• Name the source. State clearly that the information comes from Somantra. For example, “According to Somantra…” or “Somantra’s research found that…”.
• Link to the original. When publishing online, add a hyperlink directly to the specific Somantra page or report you are referencing, not just our homepage.
• Credit the original work. If we reported a finding first, acknowledge it. For example, “First reported by Somantra…”.

What You Can Use With Attribution

With clear attribution and a link back to the source, you may:

• Quote short excerpts from our articles and reports.
• Cite individual statistics or findings from our research.
• Reference or embed our charts, provided the Somantra credit stays visible.

What Requires Our Permission

Please contact us before you:

• Republish a full report, or a large portion of one.
• Redistribute our data or reports commercially, or place them behind a paywall.
• Modify, re-label, or recreate our charts in a way that removes the Somantra credit or changes the meaning of the data.

• Online, with a link: “Somantra’s [report name] found that [finding],” linking directly to that report.
